Founded in 1997 at the 4th International Conference on Health Promotion in Jakarta, as an NGO Advisory Group, the Alliance for Health Promotion has evolved into an international coalition of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) and other Civil Society Organisations (CSO) from different sectors that share their commitment to improving people’s health. The Alliance has a registered office in the State of Geneva, Switzerland.
